Fenix 6 Pro WHR Failure

Hi,

Last year my Wrist HR stopped working and spoke to Garmin that said i could buy a reconditioned watch, however i've now thought i'd reach out to the forum to see if there's any other way of fixing it.

There's no damage to the watch so i'm guessing that something in the software is causing it.

When I check 'About' it shows the following:

GPS: 5.50 (!), WiFi: 4:01, CIQ: 3.4.2, BMX 0.0.0 (!), WHR: 0.00.00, ANT/BLE/BT 6.15, Sensor Hub: 22.09

I'm guessing that the GPS and BMX have issues judging by the (!) and the HR shows as 0.00.00 which indicates another issue. I've restored it to factory settings and cleared everything off.

Can anyone help?

I've linked it up to my Mac to see if Garmin Express offers anything but it doesn't.

I am sorry there is an issue. To have the chance of resolving the type of issue your watch has developed, you can update your software. If you check your System > About menu and the software version…

I am sorry there is an issue. To have the chance of resolving the type of issue your watch has developed, you can update your software. If you check your System > About menu and the software version shows earlier than v26.00, either the v25.10 software or new v26.00 might resolve your issue. Please note, the v26.00 update was just released and it is not yet at 100% release.

I have managed to download Android File Transfer to access the files on the watch. Just need to work out if I can restore the firmware from ~12months ago as that's when it was last working

We are not able to provide old software. Sometimes customers in the forums will have kept it. The search feature above might help you find a thread.
