registered activity does not appear on Garmin connect

There is a swimming activity registered on my watch, which for some reason will not appear on Garmin Connect today. I tried to find the .fit file using the Android File Transfer, in case it is corrupted, but there is no file of the activity in question. I went for cycling and swimming, I can see the cycling activity on Garmin connect app (iOS), but not the swim. Both of them are registered on my watch though, all data is there, but I get to see the .fit file of the cycling activity only when I connect the watch to the computer.

How can a registered activity appear on the watch but the .fit file is missing? And is there a way I can have it synced?

Where are you looking? Should be on the watch in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder.

That’s exactly where i was looking and that’s where I found it after trying for more than an hour.

The cycling .fit file was there from the start. Right after I saw it, I got the message on the Mac screen that no usb was found.

It looks like there was some problem either with the charging cable of the watch, the USB-C to USB adapter, one of its USB ports, or the Android File Transfer itself.
