Fenix 6X Pro, incorrect heart rate during tennis activity

I have been using the watch for about 5 months, although in general I am satisfied wpith this watch, I still have a dissatisfaction with the heart rate measurements for the tennis activity. The heart rate is much reduced -30/40 and from here all measurements become imprecise. If I use another activity during the tennis activity, the measurements are relatively correct. Is there a workaround/fix for the tennis activity? I noticed on from that people with Fenix7 had similar problems.

  • I have the same problem.

I can't believe that this problem was still not fixed.

If I select Cardio as the activity, the HR of the same activity is considerably higher (30-40).

Tennis activity HR is completely broken.

During a high intense game, I'm sure the HR is above 140 and the Garmin is showing 100.

  • I'm using a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire, and when measuring Tennis activity the HR is incorrect.

Is this the average HR? That would make sense as the HR should spike above 100, but would be below 100 in between points. Regarding the Tennis activity not working, I suggest opening a case with Garmin Support directly.

  • I'm doing the same at the moment, I've managed to use other activities that manage to measure HR. Being a software programmer myself,
I don't understand how they were able to parameterize HR which should be UNIQUELY MEASURED, NOT depending on the selected activity, it's nonsense to me.
There are 30-40 EUR watches that measure HR correctly, it is inadmissible for a product considered "PREMIUM" to make such deviations.
I have a friend who runs at a semi-professional level and says that for the same reason the erroneous HR will move to another company.

  • No, I'm not talking about the Average HR. Maximum HR in the activity shows as ~100.

If I select other activity when playing tennis (like Cardio Activity) the HR shows the spikes to 140...150 during the game.
This is something related with the HR measurement in the Tennis Activity.

When I say that the Tennis activity is broken, this is what I'm talking about.

There are dozens and dozens of reports like this for the Tennis Activity in this Forum and on the internet.

I use the Garmin Fenix also for running, cycling and swimming and there is NO issues on the HR measurements on these other activities.
