Fake Activity Recorded in GC

I just noticed that there are three activities recorded in GC that I did not do apparently coming from my Fenix 6X .

My last actual activity was a run, which uploaded correctly to GC. I did not have any other activities but GC showed 3 additional activities, one Hike and two Other. My F6X was marked as the originator of the activity. The F6X still is in Run mode.

Does anyone have any thoughts where this came from and what the cause could be?

The same thing happened to my F6X Sapphire last night. It was sitting on the counter untouched during these phantom events.

Could (maybe) be from the automatic recording of activities not working great.

If there are GPS tracks in these 'fake' activities but no corresponding activities in the history on your watch, contact Garmin Support and let them know.
