"No cards supported" when trying to add card to Garmin pay

hi i have this same problem for one month now. Since the update to 25.xx. I started a thread here on the forum but Garmin is ignoring it.
My wallet won't let go even in my watch. Does it work for you? I select the "wallet" I confirm in the watch and nothing happens the screen "freezes"

Hi. Yes your thread is about the exact same issue as I have. I didn't find that when searching. I have also had this problem for some weeks.  My wallet did also freeze my watch until yesterday. Not sure how to fix that. Was showing the issue to a friend and suddenly it worked from the watch. Still no luck in the app. I have to investigate how to downgrade to 24.x

It won't even show me the message on the watch when I start the wallet.

You can't get fw 24.xx in the official way, Garmin disables the links, and garmin service won't provide older sw.
And I don't want to download fw from dubious sites.

Have you tried ECG on Venu2plus under your garmin account?

So. I was just able to add my cards! Not sure what did the trick, but I will let you know what I did.

Like I mentioned, my wallet just started working on my watch yesterday. Still working today, but was empty as in image above.

Today i have been investigating into the downgrade, and found out that it's not officially possible.

What eventually seemed to do the trick:

Enrolled in beta program. Still on 25.10 though

Then I gave my app all possible permissions and battery usage rights.

Then I found an alternative method to access Garmin Pay within the app. Menu -> Devices -> Fenix 6 -> Garmin pay.

From the Fenix 6 page there was another permission/connection it wanted me to grant.

Still had error message from this alternative Garmin pay page. Just slightly different: "Not connected to Garmin pay, restart device or contact support."

The other Garmin pay menu still said "no cards supported"

Then I went a bit back and forth between the pages and tried with no luck. Synced the watch etc. Rebooted the watch and then suddenly it just worked!!!

Now I'm going to opt out of the beta. Just to make sure it doesn't update and brick the functionality again.

Quite hopeless situation and this is not a good solution. I hope Garmin addresses the issue.

This is exactly what it says when I install older sw into my watch! When I install sw 20.00 and higher, I don't have this problem anymore  I don't understand why it works for some sw and not for others!!!

I tried this from 25.00 to 25.78 but it doesn't work for me.

I borrowed a F6Pro from a friend with fw v25.00 and did a factory reset on them. I added them to my Connect app and managed to add a payment card and it works.

I can also see my F6ProSolar in Garmin pay and when I click on them "add card to device" it gives me a message that they have a problem communicating with the servers.

Is it possible that Garmin is blocking my F6ProSolar for card payment?!?!

It fascinates me how nobody from Garmin comments on my problem, even though I see you here on the forum...

I'll probably have to write to Visa and my bank because Garmin probably won't deal with it until then.

Garmin, turned off the old links and even the Garmin service won't give me an older fw. It makes no sense to download from dubious sites, it would do more harm than good. For the last year I have been using OTA to distribute beta fw.

You have a link to the older sw here on the forum! I also downloaded older software here on the forum and I can only recommend it. I am extremely satisfied And if that solves your Garmin Pay problem, there's nothing to worry about.
