Fenix 6 Titanium bluetooth broken

Hello,

Before my watch goes in the trash I would like to reach out to you for one last chance.

Garmin support couldnt fix the issue. The watch has worked fine for 3 years now and suddenly yesterday the bluetooth was lost.

I have:

*Soft reset
*Hard reset
*Deleted the app
*Tried a different device (lenovo tablet)
*Deleted the device from both Garmin app and the bluetooth system settings.
*Cleared wifi and bluetooth cache/data on phone

Still, the device would not connect to my garmin app. The device is found but when trying to pair the message "Paring failed" appears. No PIN is availble.

And the fact is the watch is 3 years and 4 months the garmin says it dont goes under warranty so I must pay for it myself. This is a watch I paid 900 dollars for plus 400 dollars for bands and external heartrate band.

So, before it goes in the trashcan and never buying Garmin again. Can you guys try to help me one last time?

    I had the same exact problem and reached out to the Support, providing logfiles, which you can find on the device, when connected to the PC.
    They provided me a new (recertified) fenix on SW Version 24.10 - which now works fine again.

    I immediately turned off auto-updates until all these bugs of 25.xx versions have been fixed.
    I sent them: 

    \GARMIN\EVNTLOGS/0000005E.TXT and \GARMIN\EVNTLOGS/0000005D.TXT

    as well as a detailed description what i already did (unpair, uninstall...)

    Hope you get a new one too!

    Welcome to the club ! That's how GARMIN works. I have the same exact issue with my F 6X sapphire. No bluetooth (wi-fi mac ff:ff:ff/Bluetooth mac 00:00:00) Also, after barely 3 years of using- suddenly after one update- watch became a vegetable. And of course- Garmin's favourita answer to all problems- we can sell you refurbished watch for approx 280Eur. Only thing i can recommend- from my own experience - experiment with various softwares ! You can find them on Garmin formu page. After messing around with various SW i found that 24.10 is the best for my vegetable at the moment. Compass still doesn't work, neither i can connect to wi-fi or bluetooth headphones... Fenix series are terrible ! I alreday went back to POLAR watches, just keeping Garmin vegetable for fun..

    I was on 25.77 with a replacement 6X 2 days old. I went through almost exactly same thing and did what you did.
    I did something extra and got it to connect. (I was seeing a connection message and my 6X was showing in BT menu but I couldn’t see my device to connect). 

    I had saved my 6X directory to computer prior so I could transfer Settings, Records etc back to 6X.

    To get mine going. Phone BT off and logged out of app after clearing my 6X from BT menu.

    I reset my 6X default settings.
    After Restarting device, when it started searching and had message to finalise connection on phone, on 6X I selected Lap/back button and set up 6X manually.
    Then I connected to computer by cable and synced via Express  I disconnected and restarted and then  synced again via Express, restarted 6X and connected to computer again. 

    Still while connected by cable, I transferred my earlier saved settings files (and others) into New Files folder and synced again.

    Once they had loaded in 6X, I disconnected from computer and restarted again.

    After that, I logged into mobile Connect and switched on Phone BT. I then did Add Device in Connect and Pair Phone in 6X and the connected restablished ok.
