Fenix 6 pro HR broadcast stops

I've been broadcasting HR to my edge 830 without any problems until about the time of the 25.10 update. It's been happening an hour or two after starting but doesn't happen all of the time. I thought I was actually hitting the stop button accidentally but I locked the keys and it still happens. The last few times I tried restarting and it was very stubborn and would not connect to the 830. I exited the broadcast HR screen and tried again after a few minutes and it started working again.

Something has happened recently here as well with my Fenix 6. Broadcast has dropped with Edge 1040, Zwift via trainer, Zwift via Android Phone and Zwift via Apple TV. Seems pretty clear to be a Fenix problem

Sometimes the Fenix 6 will refuse to even start broadcasting hr. I hit the start button and nothing happens.

Each day after a nights sleep when low power mode has been activated; I have to restart my watch before HR broadcast works. Otherwise like you when I hit start it says it's broadcasting but doesn't

I had similar problems with fenix6 and edge explore 2.

What I found after lots of unsuccessful pairing (after it already worked once) is that while the ANT seems to work (i could see it with a USB ANT dongle) the EE2 didn't see it. And the Bluetooth address changes, and this causes the previous pairing not to work. When you can't connect via BT try to Add new sensor. In my case it always adds a new device, with different BT address. You can remove the old pairing from the list.

Hadn't thought about trying bluetooth mode, I've been using ANT+

R U sure? I thought at the beginning i was connected via ANT until i realized it was via BT

pretty sure. I added the BT version of the sensor on my 1040, but at first it didn't seem to work. So I deleted the BT version and added the ANT+ version back. The next several times I used F6 and 1040 together, it paired as BT, and didn't drop at all. Yesterday I forgot to start the HR broadcast and tried to start it mid-ride. It didn't automatically connect so I tried to manually connect. The BT would not connect so I connected with the ANT+. It dropped at some point and I had to connect again. So BT seems to work better for me, just need to remember to do it from the start. Would be even better if Garmin fixed this.

I have this problem with my Fenix 6 base model. Broadcast works for a moment and then just stops and the HR sensor shuts down. If I stop broadcasting the sensor resumes normal non-broadcast operation after a little while. I tried today and it kept shutting down until I sync'd the watch via Garmin Express on my laptop and did a soft reset, not sure which resolved the issue. I'm on software 25.81.
