I have the same problem. Watch is completely not usable, had to disable WHR to use the watch. Was completely unresponsive 

Is there a way to revert back to previous firmware?

yes you can. search the forum. many users have asked already. in a nutshell, you need to grab an alpha release and use the backdate firmware inside. before doing that, i would contact garmin support. it does not happen to every one.

Mine the barometer, altimeter and temperature sensor stopped working.

I can't find any alpha release. All alpha zip files have been removed. Only beta are available for download

There is only Beta releases from now on. The backdate files are inside the beta release as well.

You are correct. But there are also no beta available below 25.10 version. There is no way to go to earlier version.

Well update from my side, I sent watch to local Garmin dealer. They called me back said watch is dead, water got inside. Out of waranty, but they offered me exchange old for new, gave me discount 25% on nw Fenix watch. Will probably go with 7x. 

So contact your local Garmin. You never know, maybe end up with replacement or discount
