Official update available via Garmin Express
We will not leave Garmin. We will torture it with our posts as a tool to teach it how to behave properly.
Még minidig jobb, mint Makarenko módszere. ;-)
How hard is to understand that software can go from Alpha-Beta-Production even though it's the SAME PIECE OF SOFTWARE.
It's easy to say "This is Alpha" and have no problems/issues with it, go to Beta…
Right. And since 25.00 is in production, it's also ok not to fix "legacy bugs" in 25.10 ;)
Except that if you look at the forum you'll see how many people reported how many bugs before 25…
Checked 1 hour ago, there is not available yet
It is deployed incrementally so it depends on your watch build number
Seems like a Beta, don't you think?
i am not enrolled in the beta program nor I have a reason to misguide you all.
I'm a member of the beta team, but I don't think I got this as part of the beta update. Maybe I did though?
Anyway, it just came down to me via Garmin Express
Seems to be an alpha release looking at the beta program forum
I got the update last night. Fixed battery consumption for a couple hours, went from the atrocious 3.0% per hour to the normal .25% per hour. This only lasted for a bit and now it’s back up to 2.1% per hour. Hope they fix this issue soon.
Chaos again. No official release has been announced, but some of the users get it.
Even if
“Remember, Alpha updates will not be delivered automatically to your watches. If you would like to install the Alpha update, you will need to manually load the software. ”
I also spotted that when 25.00 was released it was said that the rollout was at 10%, then some days later, 30%. And 28 days later it is still said the same, noone cared to update it since then.
So even the tinyest and easiest part of a sw update and release process is either mismanaged and/or miscommunicated due to the lack of …… (many things).
You are right! If Garmin wont stop with these messy things I will leave Garmin!
