Fenix 6 PRO - Bluetooth - Firmware 25.00

Hi,

I don't know if it's a chance or not but since I updated tu te 25.00 firmaware, it's impossible to me to pair my Fanix 6 Pro to my phone.

It works few minutes and the connection is lost.

I tried all the tips given by Garmin (soft and hard reset, combination of buttons, ...) no phone or tablet can see my Watch.

Is it a firmaware problem or my watch is out of order ?

Garmin asks me 200€ to change it

Hello, I suggest installing an older version of the fw. It will be from alpha or beta .zip (it is stored in the systembackdate folder)
now I see that the links to older versions are no longer in the forum https://forums.garmin.com/beta-program/fenix-6-series/f/announcement . Try searching, you might find it. Then calmly put it here.

Have you tried with a headphone to see if the pairing works, more than a few minutes ?

I tried to install the 21.00 firmware. Still the same problem. Bluetooth in unreachable.

this morning i succeded to connect the watch few minites,

When I can connect via bluetooth, I'm also able to connect to a computer (USB).

I tried to downgrade the firmeware before the lost of the connection ...

Unfortunately, now all the connections are lost ...

for sure if wireless and wired connections are not possible, your watch seems defective.

Your ANT/BLE/BT module is up to date, and the version do not imply a specific issue with it.

I do not have any suggestion for you

I compared versions 25 and 21 but ant/ble/bt have the same version 6.15

try turning them off / on, select the default usb mtp connection mode in the watch settings, if it doesn't work, do a factory reset

I can connect via USB when the watch is in service mode. Try to keep the Down button pressed while power on, then connect via USB.

The front bezel is easy to remove. I cleaned the antenna contactors.

The back bezel is not easy to remove, the battery seems to be glued ... I used pressurized air to clean.

And ... since it works ... USB and Bluetooth have been recovered ... I hope it will last.
