Gesture backlight not working Fenix 6

Have noticed that the back-light 'gesture' has stopped working. All settings are correct, partner has same problem with their watch. Both are on software v24.1.

That's true. I'm on ver26 and had the same issue as the back-light gesture didn't work (after sunset for all gesture). After turning off the DND then reboot, the back-light gesture works.

Open the Garmin Connect on your phone.

Go into settings...it is the watch at the top with a circle around it under the "My Day" menu...furthest to the left.

Scroll down to system towards the bottom.

Scroll to Backlight and enable Gesture for "During Activity", "General Use" and "During Sleep".

You can adjust the other settings to suit your needs.

This worked for me perfectly...Enjoy!
