Charging problems with fenix 6 Pro Solar

I bought a fenix 6 Pro Solar new and with the factory charging cable it has trouble charging.

It has been like this since day1, and I kind of just tossed it in a drawer when I noticed it happening.

Is there any solution for this?

If I leave it plugged in, eventually it will charge, but it might take a couple weeks. Makes no difference what USB I have it plugged into.

Clean the contacts on the watch and the cable with a cotton tip and isoprppyl alcohol, making sure no lint from the cotton tip remains behind. If it does not help, Contact Garmin support, clearly something…
