Cable/charger/battery for Garmin Fenix 6 Pro Solar

1. Yes, but the Fenix will not use fast charging. 
2. There are a lot of people using 3rd party cables without issue. But if it is bad quality, it could theoretically wear out the socket on the watch. If you want to be 100% save, use the original cable with a USB C adapter / extension cable. 
3. Somewhere between 0 to 2 days 

1. Any source of 5VDC should work, including even a 100W USB-C laptop charger. The Fenix will negotiate with the charger and draw only the power it needs.

2. I've used several third-party chargers and adapters with no ill effects.

I bought this USB-C adapter from AliExpress a while ago. It works fine and is very compact. I use it in conjunction with a standard USB-C charging cable.  https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004121461795.html. If you're in a hurry I imagine Amazon and eBay offer something similar.

3. It depends on how much exposure to sunlight the watch gets. But as #Matthias# says, don't expect a substantial improvement.

So what's the purpose of being solar if there is no improvement?

A) Marketing.

B) Some people do live in sunny climates and might see greater benefit than others.

C) It comes with "solar glass" instead of sapphire glass, which means improved screen clarity. That's why I have a solar model.

C) is solar glass less resistant to scratches?

Yes, less resistant. That said, I've been a 6X Solar owner for over three years. I had my first watch for 15 months and that did pick up a very faint scratch, I think caused by my DLC coated ring when I wore them on opposite sides. Lesson learned was to always wear them on the same side of the body, even when switching sides for some skin relief. It was not noticeable in daily use and really needed a deliberate effort to angle the watch glass in just the right way to highlight it.

My second watch is 22 months old and is unmarked (as far as I've noticed).

I've decided to put a screen protector on it, just in case.

Solar only because of screen clarity? But why not the non-solar non-sapphire then? Doesn't the gorilla glass have the same screen clarity?

I wanted to avoid sapphire. I've already owned 3HR and 5X+ and I was sick of the miserable sapphire screen. But I also did not want a black painted finish on steel. The only way to get DLC finish and avoid sapphire glass was to go titanium DLC with solar.

If there was the option for a DLC finish and plain gorilla glass without solar I would have been happy, but no such option.
