After 24.00 update HR readings are wrong and very low

My HR readings are very low after 24.00 software update. I have used different activities. Before that everything worked fine.

It show right number first 15 minutes after that drop 100-120 and not getting higher.

Before update 24.00

After update 24.00

  • I have the same problem. Yesterday when playing squash where I get regularly around 185 max and average around 160 BMP per game I got an average of 135 and max 175 BPM. It is very frustrating when you are doing your max and the watch does not show it and is actually corrupting your data.

  • Sama problem here, whr data shows 100-120 in gym like all time..

  • Same here. Before v24.00 HR readings from fenix 6x pro were pretty much the same as from the HRM strap and now they`re +/- 20-30 bpm apart and I have to rely solely on the strap.

  • Yuuup, hrm dual I wear on concept 2 showing 205 max - Fenix 6s stuck at 128. I actually used to use 6s as it collates different exercises a bit easier whereas concept 2 is a bit standalone but if it’s completely wrong then no real use. :(

  • I have the same problem. Today I played badminton on the "tennis" setting. It was a very intense game for an hour.

My average HR is 98 and max 108. It's a joke.

I had a higher heart rate from the car to the court.

  • I purchased 3 Fenix 6 Pro Solar from Costco ($150 rebate).  The first one updated to ver. 24.00 and the HRM and all external sensor readings went offline.  Widgets for HRM and a few others available on ver. 22.50 were missing and for all intents and purposes "bricked" the device for IM Training.   I returned it for a full refund at Costco.  The 2nd and 3rd Fenix 6 Pro Solar are currently on Ver. 22.50 and AUTOMATIC UPDATES are turned OFF on both the Garmin App and Onboard on the device.  It does everything we need and more for Ironman training right out of the box.  I will not be connecting these to a laptop for any reason.  They are too expensive to allow incompetent coders to use as a BETA test bed.

** Garmin needs to have a "RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS" nuclear option on all their devices to undo the damage caused by "Beta" or for that manner ANY updates.

  • Same problem here. In Hiking mode I get 130 bpm at most although I am pushing hard. Average HR 100 which always brings Recovery training and ruins Training Status. Tried also some high intensity at home to eliminate the low temp factor but it is even worse - could not get more than 100. Hope they release a fix.

  • Same problemhere. The first few minutes of squash seem ok, then HR drops to ridiculous values. With the chest strap, my hr while playing is between 130-180. When HR is measured by fenix, the values are between 95-122....  It seems that this problem has been going on for more than 3 months and still no solution? I am really disappointed with the Garmin.

  • For me it seems that FW 25 has fixed it now. Just be careful with blood oxygen function. If ON all the time it drains battery really fast.

    BR

  • I also have FW 25, but unfortunately the HR readings continue to be wrong. I've tried loosening/tightening the watch, but it doesn't change anything. I have the pulse oximeter turned off.
