It is a "side-effect." If you help a user proving that a bug A does not exists you probably find bug B. :-)

The bug is a Q4 2022 update bug. In general, a bug gets fixed the next quarterly update unless it is highly complicated. Given the nanometers showing is a translation issue, odds are good it will be addressed with the next Q1 2023 update - but we will see. I will only confirm when the software gets released to avoid getting hopes up to find out there was a bigger issue and more time is needed.
Hi The nm doesn't just appear after an activity; it is on the elevation profile datascreen screen all the time both when viewing the course file & during an activity. As can be seen in the links to other posts above.
Also for the English language there is no additional translation file, which could be modified to account for the issue due to it being an integral part of the firmware
