terrible work garmin

  • hello garmin. It has been a long time since I have worn your company's watch. I started with a garmin forerunner 235, then I had a garmin forerunner 645 mnsic, then I bought a forerunner 945, and finally a fenix 6 pro. And you know what I'll tell you? fenix 6 pro was a real disappointment after your update. You just made my watch worse in using the already outdated fenix 3. The watch constantly slows down, there are a lot of errors in it. They are annoying to use! And you position your Garmin product as premium. So not good! all watches, even younger models, always worked well, fast, I always knew that garmin is quality, but not about the fenix 6 pro model, where there are a lot of errors and use as an ice product. Did you specifically kill them so that people would buy a new fenix 7 model? Nobody does that!!! You are pushing to move away from your product to another watch. I am very sad that my watch works so horribly. No pleasure to use. A lot of people on the forum write to you about a huge number of errors, but you don't care. For a long time there was no new update that people have been waiting for. After which their clock would work well.
  • Sounds like you might have bought a Chinese knockoff. Is it a Fenix 6 Pro you bought, or a Frenrix Prro 6?

  • The Fenix 6(pro) works well within its capabilities.
Certainly, there are newer sensors and more refined calculation options, not to mention a better and faster processor.
Let me put it this way:

Something really perfect must have at least one flaw.Smirk

  • Chinese fake? Are you seriously? or are you kidding? Of course, this is an original watch with all documents and a passport. they worked fine until update 23.10 But it looks like Garmin decided to destroy them

  • Call me crazy, but it might help to articulate what the actual issue(s) you're having are, instead of just some bizzare rant that's just a lot of moaning and hand waving complaining.

What sort of errors are you seeing?

And then you suggest Garmin are out to kill people (WTF?) - this makes you rant go from a childish one to one that's just so silly as to be mocked - thus my question about maybe you've got a Chinese one.

Also: You watch came with a passport?  Can it fly by itself or does it need to be escorted?

  • visit the forum and you will see a million problems with fenix 6 pro there. Problems with sensors, problems with widgets (native ones), friezes when switching screens, a long reaction to pressing buttons, ticking recommendations and much more. kill people? are you an idiot? garmin kills his watch, learn the language, or at least think about the meaning of what is meant. it feels like garmin spetsialeo released an update curve that would buy a new product. ranting *** he saw somewhere ...

  • Hey guys, could you please come down !
The Fenix has some problems but some of them can be solved by simply restarting the watch or if that doesn't work, by hard resetting.
Not all problems can be generalized to all F6.

  • I did a lot of scatter, I got tired of restoring the clock settings. Did a reboot, the friezes do not go away. they just have it in a clumsy update.

  • Hi,

We can undertsand that some are experiencing strange behaviours or issues, but the forum should be unreadable if all statisfied customer come here to post and comment ;-)

I have many run/trail men and girl using Garmin product (majority of Fenix 6, Pro and X, and FR935/945, FR245) without any issue regarding their daily usage.

I'm testing every Beta since 2019, without any problem other than those pushed and corrected during Alpha/Beta phases.

    -

Do you identify any difference at your side regarding how you use your F6Pro compare your FR945 ?

  • There is a difference. 945 switch widgets faster, sports mode, no freezes, but 945 hold battery worse after the last update, and many people here on the forum have this problem. So, in general, the clock works stably, just friezes, lags, sometimes there is no training recommendation, although it is turned on, sometimes it slows down. But I don’t use dials with iq connection, all native ones are installed.

  • I am sorry you have not been happy with your Fenix 6 series watch. Taking into account everything you have said, it sounds like you are happier with our Forerunner series. Which is perfectly fine. We have a large variety of options between Outdoor and Fitness watches.

    Bigger Picture:

If a thorough research and review is done with our Fenix series vs. any of our competitors, you will consistently see us repeatedly ranked strongly. Everyone is going to have their own perception but after speaking with well over 10,000 customers over the phones and substantially more through our forums and email, our community is happy and expressing that happiness.

Note: I am not saying our devices are perfect. Software issues come and go - but consider the following:

    - If our Fenix series watches were not strong performers and loved, the millions upon millions of owners worldwide would be flooding our forums, social media, and Amazon reviews etc. with complaints about quality and price.

You will quickly confirm large vendors with 10,000+ reviews on the Fenix 6 series averaging 4.5/5.

I am locking this thread to avoid the further back and forth. Thank you for opinions . I am sorry the watch did not work out for you.
