Golf Shot Tracker ... information/thread/updates?

New to forum and I was looking for some updates on the golf shot tracker functionality that has been broken and what the status is on getting it fixed?

Any help or insight would be appreciated...

Software version 24.00 resolved the issue.

Please try the following:

- Hard Reset: Before each round of golf, hold down your top left button until your watch shuts off, then let go.

hi, i saw this reply, but i have a question.

I do not see any note in the changelog about this specific features, issue, can you provide more explanation. see the link below for complete beta 23.8x changelog

Good question. The fix for the AutoShot not working was a Sensor Hub update. The changelog will only reference the main software.

I’m certain that someone else has reported that golf shot tracker is still not working…??? I tried it this weekend, no joy! I also tried the work around which also seems to no longer work.. anyone have any updates or information on when this will be fixed?

Has your watch been updated to software v24.00 and Sensor Hub v22.09?

Yes, verified sensor hub is also v22.09.

Great, golf AutoShot should be working for you then.

Every now and then it misses to display a distance, maybe upto 5 each round, maybe due to a poor ball strike.

I wish I could say it does.. but it doesn't. I tried on two rounds I played it didn't log a thing. The 1st round I tried it without trying the power/off work around and it didn't work. The 2nd round I tried the work around and it didn't work either.. so I'm thinking the fix doesn't work and there's more to do.

I just lunched the golf app and both rounds have the shot tracking…! How did that happen, I checked the golf app two days after the rounds and nothing. So, how did it update after two days???
