When I finish a run if I leave the battery inside the Polar H9 the watch and the HRM want to stay connected and the battery of HRM lasts only a few weeks. I have to pull out the battery every time.
Is it happening to someone else?

I don't use an H9, but a similar HRM. I just unplug the sensor from 1 of the terminals, and it shuts off in a minute or 2. I leave the other terminal attached so that they don't get lost before my next workout.
I separate the sensor and dry it
