6X Pro Sapphire and chainsaw with incident detection + activity time

Both are not 2,75. Garmin is 2h 46 min 11 sec. Strava is 31 min 20 sec. I added 2,75h manually as text.

Incident detection start even if I shake of dirt from the hand. What triggers it? What is the purpose of this function? 

Ah okay, I see. But what Strava shows as 31 min is labelled as 'moving time', so I guess it applies some kind of filter to show only the time you were in motion and exclude when you stayed still. I am not using Strava, so I can just speculate here. 

Garmin does not tell us what exactly triggers Incident detection, but it must have something to do with unexpected movements of your wrist. E.g. if you use a walking activity, intensely shaking your arms to get the dirt off would be considered as unexpected fast movement and could therefore trigger incident detection.

I hope it will be possible to set the abort time a bit longer than it is today. Does the activity type matter in terms of sensitivity? I used hiking here. 

I don't know. I would try trail running as comparison. If there is a difference, I would expect the least sensitivity for trail running. 

I don't think you can change the timer.
