Altitude acclimation is currently inactive. How do I turn this feature on? And what does it tell me?

Hi everyone, I read various posts about this topic. But, nobody has a definitive answer on how this widget works and what it tells you (i.e., how it helps you?).

I just arrived today at St. Mary's Glacier (near Idaho Springs, Colorado, USA).  The altitude at my cabin is 10,040 ft. (3,060 m).  My fenix 6X Saphire has everything enabled, including Wi-Fi, and it is always connected to my phone with location permission.  The pulse Ox is set to all day. The manual says this...but no work for me.

Altitude acclimation

At altitudes above 800 m (2625 ft.), displays graphs showing altitude-corrected values for your average pulse oximeter reading, respiration rate, and resting heart rate for the last seven days.
