thanks. i do not see if the alps are included in the us maps. are all the countries included in the skimaps. it is not clear. maybe i am a numb nut, it is asking to select a country.

Thank you. Yes i have the pro and the resort i  going is in the list. I added the ski option in my activity. When I start the ski workout when I am there, it is going to detect th Ed right place via gps or do I need to pick it from a list. Right now i am in south Carolina and it looks like i cannot pick anything. When I click options and maps, i see skiview maps. 

When you acquire GPS at that location, your watch will pull up the Ski Resort. The same applies if you Golf as another example. IE: if you open your Golf APP now and acquire GPS, you will see your nearest courses to choose from if you were about to Golf. Ski Resorts will behave in the same manner to ensure you are using the correct Ski Resort.

On the topic of maps, for everyone that will come across this thread, on the Fenix 6 Pro series, your watch comes with a TopoActive map for the region it was bought in. If you travel outside of your region, there are other TopoActive maps that be purchased and installed to your watch.

- Your Golf maps and Ski Resort maps are worldwide.

Thanks. If I buy the Europe maps, does the watch select the correct map automatically or do I have to switch between continents?

Best to double check your watch if you add another map later. If you were to buy the Europe TopoActive map, you likely will not even have enough room for that map along with your North America TopoActive map. If you copy your map off your watch and copy it back it will continue working the same. Garmin Express will be used to update your TopoActive map or download a newly purchased map to your watch.

To see your maps, or enable/disable them, you will go to your Map > Map Settings > Map > Configure Maps menu.

Got 18gb left on the watch. Looks like Europe is 10 gb. Should be good I guess. The 6 pro has 32 gb if I recall.
