Everything was working great and my Fenix 6 PRO was reporting more or less accurate floor counts where I averaged around 10 floors per day.
On my floor count diagram in Garmin Connect a sudden change can be seen starting from 23rd of July and now my average is over a hundred floors a day (and that is not definitely not correct). I can take a short walk of around 1km on level ground and have 30 or 50 meters ascent and descent.
I tried cleaning the altimeter opening by running warm water over it multiple times but that didn't help.
This change happened while I was at sea and swimming in salty water, don't know if that could have broken the watch?
Any other advice how to fix this other than sending it to be serviced under warranty?
