How can I get the steps recorded daily from Web Connect?

I down loaded all the detailed data I could get last night and it only went back to 2./25/22 and not farther.

I have many fields in the exported data but none with steps listed.

For example yesterday I walked on a recorded activity for 8.69 miles and that is what is captured in Web Connect. However, my miles and steps for yesterday total were 26,646 and 12.5 miles and these stats do not show up online in Connect UNLESS there is a switch I am missing.

I did 5.1 Million Steps(2500 Miles) last year and hope to hit 6 Million this year so daily walking data is needed for me to monitor and control this effort.

IS there any way to get TOTAL STEPS FOR THE HOLE DAY steps to show up on the epxorted data files?

Think you can get daily steps from the report section under health and fitness. If you select monthly you can then adjust the time period

Thanks, Stuart for taking the time to respond.

I could not find that time period adjustment nor could I find steps in the reports. I know its tracking but therein lies the rub. The Activity Tracked 7.43 mile but after that, the watch and the app is still tracking steps. As of now(251 PM AZ Time) my mileage is now 9.9 and the steps have increased as well.

The Exported CSV file only shows the Activity mileage NOT anything after that. It shows NO STEP data in the exported file.

As suggested - connect.garmin.com

On the left side menu you find "Health and fitness" / "steps"

You can then select the graph size week / month / year and see the acording step couters.

On mobile devices it may be a good idea to activate desktop view for a better display.

If needed you even can export the data file there

OK found that section and I can see the steps. Once you get past 1 month the resolution goes to 1 week periods and I am trying to recover daily steps back to Jan 1, 22.

As painful as it is you'll have to download each week separately back to January to achieve what you want.

That did the trick.

I just had to click each 30 days and hit back. I grabbed step data from each 30 days and I can combine all for those CSV files into one workbook.
