no music control options other than the control buttons which always show paused

Hi,
Just got a new fenix 6 and started to get familiar with it. I see that I have music controls but I don't see any other option on it other than the controls which always shows as paused. I don't see where I can control my phone's music and the user manual doesn't have any description on that (such as listen to music). SW is up to date. Is this a bug?

I see this forum has as many crickets as this feature I am complaining about... no one would care to comment?? How do I get support for this?

If you have the non Pro base version of the fenix 6 the only option you will have is to control audio that has been started on the connected phone. You can't select what to play on the phone from the watch.

What i am saying, it's not working at all. Not talking about selecting any song, just stop, play, next/previous tracks. It simply does not work. Nothing on it in the manual either...

Have you checked it is not a bug on the phone? What kind of phone is it??? All these things might help us help you.

Have you checked all permissions are granted?

Also what app are you using to play audio?

From my experience on Android devices not all apps that can play media support being remotely controlled from a Garmin watch.
