Jump Rope Activity Fenix 6

Hi,

I have Fenix 6 Pro Sapphire, I just learnt on the below link that the latest firmware update enables "Jump Rope" activity but via Connect IQ.

1. Newly added sports activities: Horseback Riding, Jump Rope (requires download via Connect IQ)

Can someone please point me out on how to enable this feature on my watch? I already have Connect IQ installed on my phone but cannot figure on how to use it to download and push the new activity to my watch. I did find a lot of user-contributed jumping rope apps on CIQ but all those are not official from Garmin.

You can download the Free ProtonVPN app - it allows a (slow) free connection to a Japanese based VPN server.

You can connect to that, download the Jump Rope app, then disconnect.

At least, that's how I got the app installed.

Hmmm in my case did not work with Japanese

Thanks for pointing me out to the right direction. I did this without VPN, it appears the country restriction is only on CIQ Mobile App so what you need to do is click this link: https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/cab001b5-034c-4acf-8572-ca640800b7a2 from a PC and then click Download and use Garmin Express App to sync to watch.
