Random update?

On my Fenix 6 is a language update announced. That could have been it for you too.

Today i receive Magnetic DB update. Through Garmin Express (computer) at my side.

And what is the Magnetic DB update for what?

Exactly the same for me yesterday. Did not say what the update was but I accepted the OTA update anyway. Still on 22.10

first time i saw this update since 3 years for me. I don't know how it's used in our device by Garmin (compass, satellite, ...).

The IGRF (International Geomagnetic Reference Field) is a standard mathematical description of the Earth's main magnetic field. It is updated every 5 years; therefore, our avionics require an update to reflect this change.

I´ve just receive same mensage when I connected My Fenix 6 Saphire to my computer over Garmin Express. I was curious to know what was that. By the name I realize it should be a data base related to compass.
