Random lines across the watch face

Hi,

I have a Garmin Fenix 6x Pro.

Up to today, everything was working perfectly and never experienced any issues. I had to recharge my Fenix today so I plugged it into my laptop to sync at the same time. Somewhere during that process, I noticed random lines across the screen that randomly appeared and disappeared all over the face. It's not static and not in the same place.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on what to do?

I've changed the face to another but the problem is the same.

If that's a 3rd party watch face then you should contact the developer. Have you tried with a default watch face? Have you tried removing all 3rd party watch faces? Might be best to contact Garmin Support in case there is a problem with the watch.

Yes it is a 3rd party watch face I downloaded from Connect IQ. I also thought that was the source of the issue so I deleted the watch face and went back to the default, those random lines are definitely less but still continue. I then hard reset my watch and deleted everything, new setup but the lines continue.

Hi,

Do you see this "lines" during activity, on maps/navigation ?

It seems to be a hardware issue :-(

I have not done any activities since this issue started yesterday but seems to be all over and not just on the face front face itself. Even when going into the menu and wanting to start an activity it's there. Kinda thinking it's a hardware problem too.

I saw this issue after updating to 21.80 beta and the watch hung with a corrupt screen.

I have not seen it since.

Mine isn't hanging, fully functional from what I've seen.
On the prod 22.10 version.

In your case unless the display driver has been corrupted in your case I'd speculate its a hardware issue. There is likely to be a timing issue in the H/W.

Seen this before in CCDs from cameras (where it causes banding in the RGB channel when de-mosaicing), and also from certain displays where you see elements offset.

Hi, did you find a solution? Or what the problem is?

I have the same problem, not as bad.

I'm not sure if a new LCD is gonna fix it.
