Suggested Workout - Sprint session 3 consecutive days

Has anyone else had the Sprint workout on 3 or more consecutive days? I have had it for the last 3 days including today but I am ignoring today as my calf muscles feel tight. Ignoring it today makes it unlikely to be suggested tomorrow, so I will not be able to follow up on this. However, 3 consecutive days of such a workout would feel aggressive and potentially injurious.

For context VO2 Max currently 60 and I have been running in excess of 50Km per week. Most Suggested Workouts are 46 mins at 130bpm. I typically use HR guidance rather than pace as the pace seems low and I am comfortable running a 4:30 - 4:40 min/km pace with a target HR of 130.

  • i had a 3 days string suggestion last year. But in my case i think it was because the Spring workout i did end up being considered as Base (Watch only HR sensor couldn't really track/keep up with the HR for 10x10s Sprint workouts so it considered them as Base) so next day i had the same suggestion. But i have much lower Vo2max (48 atm) so maybe at your level it is different ;)
