New Garmin Fenix 6 pro: Battery life dropped from estimated 25 days to 9 days after update. The battery was still at 61% after first booting the watch, so there was no deep discharge of it and it should be in good health. Why is there no way to manually go back to the original firmware (19.00)? Why should i run ANY updates in the future when they render my watch less usefull?

    ????

You have a normal F6 Pro and 61% left and want 25days? The watch doesn't last 25 days even when fully charged, only around 14 days. 61% and 9 days is the normal battery life Garmin states on their website (100% = 14 days).

Or are you using power saver????

The 25 days were wrong. But you can clearly calculate that with the estimate 14 days for f6 pro.

Don't really understand your problem here.

no, i have manually deactivated some sensors. the 61% was percentage after first booting the device (like written) and 25 days was estimated battery life with 100% charge and without heartrate and oxy sensor, disabled wifi and so on. And 9 days is way to little battery life, there is no way around it, even with all sensors on.

AHHHHH , you disable HR sensor. That explains it because normally with HR on it should be around 14 days and 100%. Maybe you should have written this in the first post.

Of course in the beginning there is some indexing etc. But have you looked at all the settings? Maybe after the update HR sensor was turned on again? Because 61% and 9 days would look like the normal battery life with HR ensor turned on.

Have you gone through all the settings? You should write more clearly what you have done otherwise everyone can only guess. You should write verything more clearly, sorry. You don't write anything which can help us understand your problem. Not that you turned off HR sensor, no new software version you installed, nothing. The better help you want the better you should explain what you did, what your settings are etc.

Thanks for the feedback. I think Garmin should make it possible for users to roll back to an older firmware wich is impossible right now.
