Fenix 7X Carbon Grey / Black DLC Titanium versus uncoated

Good day. I am eager to invest in a 7X Titanium model. Having one final decision-hurdle to overcome, I was wondering if current users could provide some insight.

Does the DLC coating wear off poorly or well; and is it more sensible to purchase the uncoated Titanium in order to have a well-aging look and presentation over 2 to 3 years?

Hello! I would recommend moving this thread to the Fenix 7 forums, you posted this in the Fenix 6. But, to answer dlc vs titanium, having a dlx f6x, out of the 10 months I've had it, the crown has only one little nic, dropping it from a meter to hard concrete. It still looks good otherwise, very clean and smooth. Also, go with sapphire glass, not a scratch on that from the drop!!!
