Hi,
since yesterday my Garmin Fenix 6X pro is not usable. I am looking for advice how to solve this and make the watch usable again:
SEQUENCE OF EVENT:
1) Yesterday morning: Repeated "Storm Alerts" w/o any storm even visible (roughly every 10 mins the watch was firing the alert)
2) Yesterday later morning: Watch face changes w/o user interference to something else
3) Yesterday lunch time: upon checking if watch connects to bluetooth iPhone, no connection possible
4) Yesterday afternoon: upon return home, charging of watch which triggered a restart of the watch. Screen with Garmin logo and "loading maps …" stays forever (more than an hour)
5) Browsing Online Forums Attempt to do Factory Reset (Power Off, then Power Up with both buttons on right side of watch hold … upon first beep released top right, upon second beep bottom right …) ended as previous attempts with Garmin branded screen and "loading maps …" and subsequent freeze
6) Upon contacting customer support at Garmin, CS suggested to connect via Garmin Express app and cable watch to Mac … upon doing this and attempting this, no connection possible as app did not find the watch
6.1.) Upon connecting the watch an Android folder explorer came up showing the contents of the watch but no connection through the app
What can I do now to get my Garmin Fenix 6x Pro back. Suggestions, Advice, Help … more than welcome ...
