I have a Tactix Bravo that hasn't seen much use, though recently pulled it out of the drawer and have been wearing it the last few weeks, including a few open water swims. This morning I noticed the buttons weren't working. I thought maybe I had locked it accidently.
I performed a reset by holding the light button. It cuts off after approximately 20 seconds as it's supposed to. I use the same light button to turn it on, and Garmin logo appears and then after a minute or so it goes to the normal watch face, but the buttons still do nothing (except I can reset it again. I did the reset several times.)
It's currently charging and all seems normal there.
Edit - I tried what I think was a hard reset Shut down with the light button for 20 seconds Then turned on. When the logo screen came on, I held top and bottom right buttons On first beep I let off of top button. On second beep I let off on bottom button. The word English appeared, making me think the reset worked However, buttons still don’t work . I couldnt move it off that screen. I had to soft reset again and this time the screen is stuck on the Garmin logo startup screen
its Strange that the button works fine for the resets but not to actually control the functions
Any suggestions? Customer service is closed today.
