  • did you change anything before the last 2 runs? Like FW upgrade? New watch... BTW i see your cadence is 0. Maybe that's causing it?

  • Have not changed anything. Cadence zero cause of using Stryd.

This one with same setup i got performance condition:

  • To get PC, you need to be above 70% of your maximum heart rate for several minutes.

Poor electrical contact between chest strap and skin can cause erroneously high HR readings (often 210-230 bpm), and if you had HRMax autodetect on, this may have given you a new HRMax. This can be common when running in cold conditions, when the skin is dry - it normally goes away after 5-10 minutes running as you begin to sweat.

A false HRMax in this range can make it hard to reach 70% in normal running.

I'd recommend checking your HRMax in Garmin Connect. In fact, don't just check it, but force a change by changing HRMax to something else and sync it to the watch, then changing it back to what you think is the correct number, and syncing again. Note that Garmin Connect overrides the watch, so change it in GC, not on the watch directly.

  • Seems like you can be correct regarding 70% of maximum - in my case 128. Could be that I had less than 128 in average first 10 min ish that does that performance condition is not showing?

  • Found this that I think answer my "problem" - I don't think I had 10 minutes continuously with at least 70% of my maximum heart rate

    Running VO2 Max Estimate

    • The Run activity must be 10 minutes or longer.

      • On a vivosport, it must be 15 minutes or longer.

    • The activity must be recorded outdoors with a GPS signal.

    • The GPS must not be set to UltraTrac (see your device's owner's manual for information on adjusting the GPS settings).

    • Heart rate data must be recorded (from either a built-in optical heart rate sensor or from a chest strap).

    • Your heart rate must be elevated to at least 70% of your maximum heart rate for at least 10 minutes continuously.
