I have been using the Garmin Daily Recommended workout recently - I do ride indoors with my Wahoo Kickr which has a power meter but I have no power meter on any of my outdoor bikes.
Today's recommendation is for about 2 1/2 hours riding at certain wattage - 2 1/2 hours is far too long and tedious to do indoors, but quite enjoyable on a nice day like sunny day today outside - problem is with no power meter I can't do the recommendation outdoors due to the wattage target. Disabling the power meter connection still elicits a power target for the outdoor bike activity.
Did I imagine a setting where you can choose Daily Recommendations to use heart rate instead of pace for running, and HR instead of power for cycling?
I was planning to ride today anyway, but I am trying to do the recommended workouts where possible lately.
