if you have Garmin Explore installed, you also have notifications.

- How Do I Set Up Which Notifications Display on My Garmin Device?
I have the same issue with my Garmin 7. When I set it up initially all worked fine and I only got notifications from 2 selected apps. Than suddenly I now get all notifications. So annoying. The watch is vibrating all the time and I stop wearing it because of this.
Originally I had only the connect and connect IQ app installed. Later I also installed Golf and Explore app and I am running on android smartphone.
The notification came up after installed the Golf app, not immediately, but like a day and a half later.
If go through the setting as described in the linked article - How Do I Set Up Which Notifications Display on My Garmin Device? my setting look fine. According to the settings I should only notifications from 2 pass. But I get notifications from all apps.
this is really frustrating and I take now my Fenix off if my mobile is nearby.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
I really love the watch otherwise
Surely this is an issue with Garmin Connect as that is responsible for the notification 'push'?
I guess it could be any of the 4 Connect apps. So is there a way to solve this?
I have the same on F6X Pro 21.80 - Android. Have toggled FBook in particular on and off in GC notifications but still getting them come through to the watch, most others do seem to be blocked as normal though.

Which means this is a Garmin Connect issue as I suggested above.
I think you'd have more luck getting eyes on the issue in the correct forum.
thanks. I just found this issue here and added to it to keep it in one place. Which would be the right forum to discuss?
And actually I somehow think, that it is not just the Garmin Connect app, but I guess Connect IQ, Garmin Golf and Garmin Explore play into this as well.
I am bit afraid that the issue is being pushed from one end to the other. Overall it is Garmin and I am a Garmin customer who loves his new watch but likes to function appropriately. (not sure if any Garmin people read this here as well ;-))
If you have Garmin Explore installed alongside Connect and IQ 3 apps will continue fight each other and drain your battery.
When i have IQ & Connect only - then all good
The same was reported by several people already after a recent Garmin Explore App update. You could try to set your notification settings in Explore as well, maybe that will solve it. Or uninstall Explore, if you can live without it.
