Fenix 6 pro not recording distance at all in running even with GPS confirmed

For some reason the watch will only record distance in other activities like walking or hike. But I am more interested in running metrics so would like to be able to use the the running activity.

Using firmware 20.30

Turned the device on and off

GPS shows connected

Used Fenix 6 pro with HRM pro which showed me my stride length but still didn't show distance.

I would love some help to fix this thank you!!

Update: deleted all data and reset all settings

GPS now tracking distance :) than goodness

Do you get a map after finishing your activity?

No I didn't get a map afterwards, just this.

Are you actually pressing the start button a second time to commence the activity?

Are you using the Run activity, and not a (copied and renamed?) actvity like Indoor Running?

Nah its not copied and renamed

Yea I pressed start, you can see if the photo I recorded 14 mins of running

are you using by mistake some "run indoor" activity?

Even if that was the case, indoor running should still produce some pace and distance based on the built-in accelerometer.

Have you tried Trail Run?

Do you still get the same problem?

It seems to me that you get data from HRM-Pro and not from Fenix. Try a small run without wearing the HRM-Pro and see. You have to connect HRM-Pro directly to watch and not on the phone

The image shows that the activity was registered by the F6. And anyway, the HRM-Pro cannot register a standalone activity, and I do not see any technical possibility for it to interfere with pace/distance measurement.
