Complete a course started midway

I have several courses from other users where I would like to do the entire course, but start from a different place. It works fine picking up the course midway and then guiding me to the finish line, but then the navigation stops as I have reached the finish line. Is there a way to continue the activity without saving it and then starting a new one. I would like to see me run as 1 activity and not split in 2.

Haven't tried it in the field, but try the following:

While the activity is running, press and hold the "Up" button. Select "Navigation", then "Courses" and select the course you want to run.…

As far I know you can stop/start a navigation mid course independently the activity.

Tried this yesterday, but "courses" did not show in the menu after holding the "Up" button. It was also my own guess how to continue the activity by restarting the course
