Why is Garmin support so bad? Read none-existent????

Hmm I've got a Fenix 6 solar and throughout its been beset by uncontrolled changes playing with baseline numbers making it difficult to keep up to date with the correct counts (HR, cals, steps etc) and I know many have the same issues as the forum is live with complaints, but I have yet to see Garmin actually offer support. 

Does anyone know why this is? They are the ONLY software company I've dealt with (I'm a techie and deal with them worldwide) that seem to make no effort to help their customers through forums etc - EVEN Microsoft do eventually help their customers (eventually!).

This really is very sad and will most likely mean I'll move to a better, more supportive brand next time!
