Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with their Fenix 6X Sapphire (or any other models for that matter) randomly freezing - steps and heart rate specifically.
Activities such as running are still registering and recording distance, but showing no steps or heart rate.
Watch is relatively new (purchased in the last 3 months). Everything was working fine up until Mid-January 2022, and i've had nothing but problems since
I've contact Garmin support with no result (or update/response) from them as yet.
I can get get steps and heart rate to reset but rolling back the firmware to 19.20. This works for around 24 hours and then freezes again.
I plug the watch into Garmin Express and then update to 20.30. Again this works fine for around 24 hours with the most recent freeze occurring between 3:45am-4:00am (according to Garmin Connect).
I'm going to call Garmin Support Monday for an update, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions in the interim. Its a bit frustrating/annoying having to reset my watch every 24 hours just to get one of the more basic functions to work (counting steps).
