How to get the Worldwide DEM Basemap?

It won't show up in the Activity configuration options, but will in the System info.  Go here:

MENU > System > About > [Scroll down until you find "CourseView Worldwide DEM"]

If you find it in the System info, you're good to go.

Okay. I don't have that file on in my \GARMIN folder. Any ideas how to get it?

CourseViev DEM is the DEM map of golf courses. Exclusively of golf courses.

The map the OP is looking for is called "worldwide DEM Basemap,NR

When you connect the watch to the PC, it is located in the \Garmln folder and is called gmapbmap.img. It is about 18MB in size.

OK.  I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong, but I'm not so sure about this one.

I have gmapbmap.img in the GARMIN folder on my 6xPro, but it's 46.5MB - much larger than the 18MB you suggest.

And, if that is indeed the worldwide DEM Basemap, what are the files gmapdem.img and gmapdem1.img?

True, the size of the gmapbmap is 48.8 MB with the current maps also with me. Earlier it was only 18MB for me.
Nevertheless, the gmapbmap remains the worldwide base map.
