Coros Vertix 2 strap to Garmin Fenix 6x Pro

Hello, there is a way to modify the Coros Vertix 2 straps to fit the Garmin Fenix #X and Tactix 7 (which I own). I essentially widened the Vertix 2 strap so that it could accommodate the larger strap pins on my Tactix 7. I did this by heating a small eyeglasses screwdriver (with the same thickness of the Tactix 7 strap pins) and inserting it into the Vertix 2 strap to widen the pin hole /ridge (not sure if that's what that is called). The process took me a good 10-20 minutes but it worked and you can't visually tell that the strap was modified in any way. I'm using the yellow Vertix 2 strap on the Tactix 7; the band is only a bit tight to put on and take off but it is completely doable and it seems to be secure on the Tactix 7; I even pulled on the strap to test it and it did not come off.
