Year built from serial number? Fenix 6 age :)

Hi all, wondering if there is a way (a database or anything similar) to determine (or approximate) the "age" of the watch from its serial number.

Reason is... Bought 2 watches (plain Fenix 6) on Amazon warehouse - as "used in good condition" while they look basically both brand new; they have serials almost 200k apart (63N36xxxx and 63N58xxxx) apart, curious about how old are they respectively. Also, anyone knowing approx how many Fenix 6 are built every year?

Understand there is no direct connection between build moment and sale moment, nevertheless... I am curious

My guess is those entries relate to when the watch was first powered on for final testing. What's strange is why there's a month difference between the two entries.

I'm not sure the dates on that page are correct. It shows a 630 with date Jan 2021. I had one, but sold it long before then. The date for my FR255 shows as the date I added it to my profile, but I know it was used before that by someone else.

Here's the partial log for my 255. Looks like it was made in 2022 and actual usage started in Jan 2024? Or maybe April 2024? I got it on 24 April, and the seller told me it's about 2 weeks old (maybe meaning that he used it for 2 weeks). Now I'm not sure if he was actually being honest. The watch was in mint condition though, with basically no signs of usage. He didn't do a factory reset and out of respect for his privacy I didn't check the history before doing a reset, but it would have been interesting to see the list of saved activities on the watch.
