I think you are perhaps talking about the golf maps. They are not listed in the device map settings, but are installed in the Garmin folder.
Have downloaded the otm Lebanon and it is listed and visible on my F6xPS.
Have you already downloaded it again? Perhaps something went wrong with your first download?
I have already seen, that a map was not listed but was present on the map screen. That’s why I asked.

if u r into some physics, ud be able to understand my reference. in other word: Garmin has a quantum processor of some sort on your end!!!!

Ok, downloaded the contours as well. Took the original name and it seems, that the contours have overwritten the normal map.
Named the normal to otm-Lebanon1 and that worked.
Some letters in the map are shown with hieroglyphics (but maybe because I use the German text file).
No idea about Volker Pispers, even never heard abou him.
