Slow change between clock screen and other button

Good evening, I encountered this bug with my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro, using the beta version of firmware 20.03 (same issue with version 20.01).

The bug is a slowdown when trying to switch from the main watch screen (I'm using a standard watchface, and not downloaded from Connect IQ) to the widget page(or press the others button). Pressing the scroll button, in fact, passes approximately 1 or 2 seconds between the change of one screen and the other.

This only happens the first time after the clock is not used for about a minute, because if I try to do it later, the page switching speed is instantaneous. The same happens if I try to switch from the main screen to any other. There is always a few seconds of delay. It looks as if the screen goes into standby, then works instantly after being reactivated. Nothing happen during acitivity or with bluetooth paired with a phone.

This does not happen with the latest public release 19.20. I can give you the security, as I tried to install it again.

i seem to have the one second delay from the watch face as well , it really bothers me , have you found a fix for this ? im on software version 20.00

No, I had the same problem with both 20.01 and 20.03 beta.

With the latest public release, 19.20, the problem is not there.

We hope that the problem is solved with the next releases or someone in the forum can show us a solution.

No, I'm currently on beta version 20.03.

I tried to backdate to 19.20, but the backdate file is 19.21.

Garmin Pay does not work properly with this version (GC says the card is not supported by my region, but this is not true).

So I can't go back, just hope the problem is fixed with the next public or beta release.

how do you back date to an earlier version ?

If you download the beta version, there is a folder inside called backdate.

Just copy the file into the Garmin folder on your smartwatch.

To do this, however, you must currently upgrade to version 20.03

me to lol otherwise im returning it and trying another one , iv also made a post about the same subject to raise awareness , its literally just under or above this one now

Are you going to turn the clock back and try another one?

I think it is not a hardware problem but a software problem, because during the activity everything works instantly.

Same thing if you turn on the bluetooth of the phone and connect the smartwatch.

Also write to Garmin to report the problem (find the email by going to the beta firmware page)
