Have the 6X sapphire. What is the best hiking face

I would like to display to show time, distance, elevation gain, temperature, etc. Any suggestions?

  • What you're seeking are called 'data fields', within the specific activity. (not a watch face, in other words). This might help you a bit more:

  • I use the “Hike / Walk Multi“ Datafield for Hiking. You can also take a look at „Configurable Multi“ it is from same developer but more customizable.

  • Here's how I have my hiking activity set up.

Page 1: Time, elapsed time, Simply Sun Time (CIQ datafield), ascent/descent gauge, temp, elevation, battery life, distance. I call this my "where I am" page.

Page 2: Map (with ascent and distance overlaid on it)

Page 3: Graphical compass, calories, steps, HR, aerobic/anaerobic gauge, exercise load. I call this my "how I'm doing" page.

    Page 4: Elevation chart

Page 5: (not shown here) has distance to next waypoint, name of next waypoint, distance to finish, ETA, vertical distance to destination, etc. I call that one my "where I'm going" page. It only appears when I'm currently navigating a course.

It would take me forver to walk you through exactly how I set all that up, but you should be able to learn about it in the link  posted above. I also recommend checking YouTube for various videos that can walk you through it. Everything shown in those screenshots is built into the watch, not a CIQ download, except for the SimplySunTime field (which, you could actually use the built-in Sunset field for, but I like this one better)
