If your watch is of APAC region, don't update. APAC stands for Asia Pacific.

APAC devices aren't compatible with the firmware. I don't know why, but it's not really important; all that matters is that beta firmware doesn't work on APAC devices (for whatever reason) so don't use them on an APAC device, because it won't work.

I believe it's primarily to do with the character based nature of most asian languages. I think there are also country based regulations (Japan?) that exclude the use of wrist based pulse oximetry.
