Strength Training 6X Pro Help

I just purchased my first Garmin HRM and struggling a bit to figure things out.

I did a run today on the treadmill and it was miles out on distance, but it let me Cal it so i will see how the next one fairs.

Then I wanted to do strength training, I had added the activity last night and assumed i would be good to go.

I tried the free option and back to basics...wtf

I really don't want to mess about pressing start stop every set and adjusting the reps and weight.

I really don't need screen animations showing me exercise's.

I even looked at setting up a custom activity but it wants to know how long your training etc.

I train as long as i can, as hard as i can...i don't know in advance??

can anyone help?

I just want to set the activity going, do my routine and at the end...stop it and record it.

I just want to see Heart Rate, Calories used, training zones, Time and stop watch whilst i train.

is it possible to set that up?

would appreciate any help
