A strange white spot has appeared in my fenix 6 pro sapphire for quite some time, even when turned off... I bought it two years ago, so its out of the warranty period... Does anyone know if it can be repaired?

Contact Garmin via chat. They replaced my F5 out of warranty so it's worth a try.
I have the same problem with my fenix 5, very disappointed after 4 years with this watch and specially being loyal with garmin, my first watch was a forerunner version.
Unfortunately nothing you can do about this yourself. I was looking for information on what these are, and they are 'mura' spots, that can occur as a result of flexing/pressure or long-term exposure to very high temperatures, but apparently also spontaneously appear after a time of normal use. Despite watches being older, hope you folks can work something with Support.
Thank you for sharing your research! Mine it getting worst, now the spot is bigger and I don't know what to do. I don't know if changing the LCD screen by my own, could be a solution. I will try again to work with Support, but initially they offered me a repair out of warranty, paying 150$ !
Well, that's less expensive than what I paid for an out of warranty replacement of my 5+. It is certainly less costly than a new device.
Considering the amount of time, cost of parts, waiting for parts, effort, research, uncertainly because of not having any documentation, and emotional anguish that went into my failed repair attempts.. in hindsight, I should have gone for the out-of-warranty replacement directly.
Do they replace it without any additional cost? I am having similar issue with same model watch at the same location?
They will not replace it for free when warranty has ended. Contact Garmin and ask them what your options are.
Thanks for the response.
