Sleep, Stress and Body Battery metrics missing

A couple of days ago I noticed that my Fenix 6 Pro hadn't recorded my sleep which was unusual, but put it down to a one off. I then noticed it didn't record the next night so looked into it further and it seems to have just stopped recording sleep altogether, but some of the other metrics are out too.

My stress is showing at 90 constantly, and I have no body battery data from the same period. The HRM appears to be working fine as that is still recording, but I noticed after a run yesterday that my intensity minutes hadn't increased at all, it just shows 0 min but vigorous for the run under the intensity minutes in the app.

I have tried a soft reset, turning it off and on again, and also turning the HRM off and back on, but this doesn't seem to have fixed it. I guess the next step is a factory reset, but are there any other options to try first? The device has been on version 19.20 for a while now so it doesn't appear to be immediately linked to this.

  • I am sorry you are having issues. If by soft reset you mean holding down your top left button until your watch shuts off, that is the most likely resolution for the odd behavior in most situations. Other than that, the master reset is the alternate option that is a last resort.

  • Unfortunately multiple soft resets didn't help. I tried changing various settings including Move IQ, turned the HRM off then back on after a while, but nothing worked.

I didn't want to reset it and have to set it up again and load my music back on, so I decided to risk installing the latest Beta version onto the watch, and it's managed to fix the issue! Stress, sleep and Body Battery all working perfectly again. Not sure what the Beta might have broken though! Laughing
