Hard reset for saved BT (earbud) connections

Not try to start another BT headphones dropout thread.  We've got plenty of those.

I'm asking two questions related to BT connectivity.

I've recently received a new/refurbish 6x Pro. My original just crashed beyond tech support salvage.

I'm using a pair of Jaybird Vista.  They had been worked (without dropouts) on this replacement device. Until a session at the gym last week.  Only thing different that I can tell is that when pairing, I was at a different area of the gym, one in which also has BT wavelengths for the gym speakers (so staff can control the music).  Since the day..  I've been getting "Connection Switched" audio in my ears once the 6x tries to connect to the Vista.

I've rebooted the watch.

I've removed the saved vista headphones and rebooted the watch

Still get the "connection switched".  Many BT headsets allow saving different devices to pair with.  So my questions are:

1) does anyone have any more knowledge of experience in their communications with Garmin.  When you "remove" the headphones, do we think is really / fully removed?

2) does anyone have any knowledge of how to factory result the vista, to essentially wipe all internal same info within them?

Maybe if I do both of the above, maybe just maybe the headphones would stay connected
